Subject: Status
Report
As of today, the progress statistic of the EWPATAS
system development is as followed:

Tracking
subsystem: We are at 78% completion state, 1.5 week behind schedule. We are estimating that release 5.5 will be
released by 5/21/01. The 6.0 release is
having a tentative release on 6/8/01, plus or minus 8 days. Please note that as of release 5.0, the
system is ready for standalone beta testing.
Release 5.5 will support network routing and release 6.0 will support
near-real time DB validation.

Accounting
subsystem: We are at 67% completion.
Work on new Banner DB integration is scheduled to run parallel with the
6.0 release of the tracking system in late May. Target completion for DB integration for accounting subsystem is
in July.
·
Web
front end subsystem: We are at 23%
completion with the kernel layer of J2EE architecture in place. We do not schedule any intensive work on
this until late June due to human resource constraints.
Overall, we are confident that the system will be
ready for wide beta testing during Summer School and for production by Fall
Semester.
